No Rules Theatre Company (NRTC), presents Suicide, Incorporated by Andrew Hinderaker, at The H Street Playhouse, 1365 H Street NE, Washington, DC. Performances are tonight, May 30  - June 23, 2012, Thursday - Saturday evenings at 8:00 pm and Saturday - Sunday afternoons at 2:00 pm. Tickets are $10 - $25 at www.NoRulesTheatre.org.

After massive success at Chicago's Gift Theatre and New York's Roundabout Theatre, this dark comedy about a business that helps its customers to perfect their suicide notes makes its way to Washington, DC and the H Street Playhouse. Don't miss the show that was hailed in the Chicago Tribune as, "...a hugely exciting new play," and "a deeply moving inquiry into what lives are worth."

NRTC Co-Artistic Director Joshua Morgan will direct this funny play about a taboo subject, "Suicide, Incorporated is ultimately about our relationships, our awareness and how the two coincide. In this play, suicide is a piece of a much larger puzzle exploring the ways we can so easily lose sight of what we truly value."

NRTC Co-Artistic Director Brian Sutow plays the role of Jason and is trilled to be presenting the DC premiere, "The play is fiercely hilarious, incredibly imaginative, and manages to talk about an important issue in a dynamic and active. Andrew Hinderaker is well on his way to being a very important playwright, and after a hit run in Chicago and playing at the Roundabout in New York City, we are thrilled to be the DC home for this incredible new work."

Playwright Andrew Hinderaker's Suicide, Incorporated had its New York premiere at the Roundabout Theatre Company's underground this past fall.  It was developed at the Steppenwolf New Look Play Festival and Seven Devils Playwrights Conference.  It had a world premiere at Chicago's Gift Theatre in June 2010 to critical acclaim, where it enjoyed a twice-extended sold-out run and was nominated for multiple Jeff Awards, including Best New Work. Hinderaker's plays have been developed and produced at such theatre companies as The Araca Group, Steppenwolf, Victory Gardens, American Theater Company, and the side project.  Additional recognition for Hinderaker's work include a nomination for the 2010 Otis Guernsey New Voices in American Playwriting Award, and Finalist/Semi-Finalist status for the Princess Grace Award, the Heideman Award, and the Austin Film Festival.   Hinderaker is a Resident Playwright at Chicago Dramatists, where his new play, I Am Going to Change The World will receive a world premiere in Spring 2012.

The cast is: Adam Downs (Perry), Joe Isenberg (Scott), Dylan Jackson (Tommy), Brian Sutow (Jason), Spencer Trinwith (Norm) and Howard Wahlberg (Officer).

The creative team is: Andrew Dorman (Lighting Designer), Theresa Hindersinn (Stage Manager), Joshua Morgan (Director), Steven Royal (Scenic Designer), Chelsey Schuller (Costume Designer), Jason Waggoner (Sound Designer) and Kelly Wetherald (Assistant Director).
