THE LITTLE FLOWER Announces Washington DC, NY Performances

MNA Productions, Inc., has anounced that Tony Lo Bianco will bring his award-winning performance as Mayor Fiorello H. La Guardia in THE LITTLE FLOWER to Washington D.C. and New York City this winter. The D.C. premiere will include special performances for members of the United States House and Senate, the Wounded Warriors Foundation and the Embassy of Italy in the United States. THE LITTLE FLOWER will then return to New York for a 16-performance run.

On Friday, February 22, 2013, Claudio Bisogniero, the Ambassador of Italy to the United States, will host a special presentation of THE LITTLE FLOWER at the Italian Embassy as part of the "Year of Italian Culture in the United States". On Monday, February 25 and Tuesday, February 26, Lo Bianco will perform THE LITTLE FLOWER at the U.S. Navy Memorial's Roberta Burke Theater for an audience of wounded veterans, members of the United States House and Senate and the general public. $35 tickets for the U.S. Navy Memorial performance on February 26 are available by emailing Chris Schembra at tonylobo@aol.com.

THE LITTLE FLOWER will then return to New York City for a 16-performance engagement at the Dicapo Opera Theatre, with the first 11 performances already sold out. Tickets for the remaining performances on Friday, March 22nd, 2013 at 8pm, Saturday, March 23rd, 2013 at 8pm, Wednesday, March 27th, 2013 at 8pm, Thursday, March 28th, 2013 at 8pm and Friday, March 29th, 2013 at 8pm are priced at $50 and are available by visiting www.SmartTix.com or calling (212) 868-4444.

Tony Lo Bianco starred in the Academy Award-winning film The French Connection opposite Gene Hackman and the cult classic The Honeymoon Killers, with other film credits including Oliver Stone's Nixon and 2011's Kill the Irishman alongside Vincent D'Onofrio, Val Kilmer and Christopher Walken. On Broadway, his memorable performance as Eddie in Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge earned him a Tony Award nomination and an Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Actor. He won an Obie Award for Best Actor for the Off-Broadway production of Jonathan Reynolds' Yanks-3, Detroit-0, Top of the 7th, among numerous other accomplishments.

THE LITTLE FLOWER features set design by Henry Millman (Letters Home, Sweet Main Street), costume design by Academy Award winner Patrizia von Brandenstein (Amadeus, The Untouchables, Ragtime) and lighting design by Paul Jones.
