O'Hara, Connick Jr., Cumming and Many More to Perform in Roundabout Gala, April 3

The Roundabout Theatre Company's 2006 spring gala will be a starry one, with The Pajama Game stars Kelli O'Hara and Harry Connick Jr. and The Threepenny Opera star Alan Cumming among those set to perform. The event will take place on Monday, April 3rd at Chelsea Piers at 7pm.

Directed by Scott Ellis (Entertaining Mr. Sloane), the evening will also feature performances by Becky Ann Baker, Blair Brown, Liz Callaway, Michael Cerveris, Linda Emond, Merwin Foard, Boyd Gaines, Tyrone Giordano, Capathia Jenkins, Daniel Jenkins, Jane Krakowski, Judy Kuhn, LaChanze, Darren Lee, Hoon Lee, Telly Leung, Michael McElroy, Debra Monk, Denis O'Hare, Ron Rifkin, Martin Short and Brent Spiner. Liam Neeson, Natasha Richardson and Rob Marshall will also make appearances. The stars will treat their dining audiences to numbers from past Roundabout shows such as 1776, Follies, Cabaret, Big River, Pacific Overtures, Nine, and Assassins.

Numbers from current smash The Pajama Game and the upcoming The Threepenny Opera will also be performed. The latter show, which stars Cumming, Ana Gasteyer, Cyndi Lauper and Nellie McKay, will open at Studio 54 on April 20th after beginning previews on March 24th. The Pajama Game continues its run at the American Airlines Theatre. The Roundabout Theatre Company is also currently presenting Joe Orton's Entertaining Mr. Sloane, starring Alec Baldwin and others, at the Laura Pels Theatre.
