SIGNS OF LIFE, A Tale of Terezin, is thrilled to announce the full cast for its Chicago premiere this fall at the Zacek McVay Theater at Victory Gardens Theater (2433 N Lincoln Ave). SIGNS OF LIFE will play Chicago for a limited six week engagement September 18 - October 27, 2013.

Last night, actor Nick Cearley celebrated the work of Tony Award nominee Bill Russell. The evening, 'Still Bill' featured lyrics and poems by Russell with special guests Lauren Molina (vocals, cello, ukelele), Chris Schelling (keys), Christian Imboden (banjo, guitar), Shannon Ford (drums) and Alice Ripley. ROCK OF AGES star Lauren Molina will go (mostly) solo at The Duplex on Wednesday night, April 14, 2010 from 9:30 - 10:45 PM. The show promises as 'an evening of ukulele driven originals, and playful covers, layered with cello, guitar, banjo, and melodica.'

The three-day, Center-wide event offers a series of free readings and open rehearsals of plays and musicals being developed by local, regional, and national playwrights, librettists, and composers.

There are two things you should know about me: I am a musical theatre lover, and I love to schmooze with actors and composers. I am very fortunate to live in the DC area where our theatre community is growing by leaps and bounds. There are so many productions opening in September in DC, Maryland and Virginia theatres, my head is spinning trying to figure out which ones I will see.
