Schleifer has been serving the organization in the capacity of General Manager since March 2014, having arrived from a thirteen-year run at Baltimore's Center Stage. The promotion comes ahead of three transformative years for the Alliance as the organization embarks on an exciting renovation.
The Alliance Theatre has released final design renderings of its theater transformation, which is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2017. This is the first major building reinvention for the theater since its construction in 1968 as part of the Woodruff Arts Center campus, also home to the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and High Museum of Art.
