NICHOLAS and Josh Rollins' A GIRL WITH SUN IN HER EYES for Pine Box, both staged by Matthew Miller, and at Goodman: Seth Bockley’s ASK AUNT SUSAN and Falls' production of Chekhov's THE SEAGULL. In 1988 Pickering received a Jeff Citation for designing the costumes, masks, and puppets for Bailiwick Repertory’s production of George Orwell’s ANIMAL FARM. In 1997, he was named Chicago Magazine Actor of the Year. An extensive stage adaptation resume since 1990 includes Jeff/After Dark Award-winning scripts after Clive Barker’s IN THE FLESH and William Gibson’s BURNING CHROME, both penned with British director Charley Sherman.
