Pumpkin Theatre Presents SONGS I'LL NEVER SING ON STAGE 3/10

Pumpkin Theatre hosts the cabaret event "Songs I'll Never Sing on Stage", a performance by the Producing Artistic Director Jimi Kinstle and the Friends of Pumpkin Theatre singing songs they were never meant to sing in performance on stage (either too old/young/wrong sex/ etc).

Tickets are available for Howard County's signature event, Celebration of the Arts in Howard County, on Saturday, March 24, 2012 held at Peter and Elizabeth Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center, Howard Community College, Columbia, MD. Tickets can be purchased via the Howard County Arts Council's Celebration page on its website www.hocoarts.org, by phone at 410-313-ARTS (2787) or in the office at Howard County Arts Council, 8510 High Ridge Road, Ellicott City, MD 21043. Any remaining tickets will be available at the box office on the day of the event.

Broadway and opera star Luke Grooms will be presenting a cabaret, titled 'Luke Grooms is a Sassy Black Lady,' at Germano's Trattoria on February 26th at 7:30 p.m. The hilarious, tongue-in-cheek cabaret will feature songs made famous by female African American performers such as Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, and Whitney Houston.

It was back on December 8, 2010 that I had the pleasure to see Luke Grooms perform for the very first time at the intimate Germano's Trattoria. Housed on the second floor of the lovely Italian restaurant, Cyd Wolfe and her husband Germano have established a successful quaint home for cabaret performers. The food is terrific, the piano in tune, sound wonderful , and one can expect talented performers whenever you attend.

Cameron Mackintosh and The Really Useful Theatre Company, Inc. are proud to announce that, due to popular demand, they are extending the final engagement of the national tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA by two weeks. Added performances October 19th through 31st will go on sale to the public on Sunday August 29th at 10am. The national tour of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, known as The Music Box Company has been running continuously for 17 years, and will play its farewell performances in Los Angeles at the Pantages Theatre. This national tour remains the most successful and longest continuously-running tour in U.S. history. THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA began performances in Los Angeles in May 1989 (Christine Company), and played for over 4 years. Performances of this farewell engagement will begin September 23rd, 2010.
