BOEING BOEING Comes to the Alhambra in June
The Alhambra Theatre & Dining will open its comedy, Boeing Boeing on May 23, 2004. Set in the 1960’s, Boeing Boeing is a whirlwind of a farce revolving around American journalist Bernard Lawrence, who has his hands full in the romance department: he has three girlfriends, all stewardesses.

Eddie Redmayne currently in previews as the ‘Emcee’ in Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club celebrated Broadway legend Joel Grey’s 92nd birthday on stage at the August Wilson Theatre.

It’s been almost a week, but I’m still having trouble processing the loss of Chita Rivera. I expected to see her onstage again. What always struck me about Rivera, the ultimate gypsy (a term she clung to after others eschewed it in the name of political correctness), is, even in later years, she still seemed like a dancer first, a star second.

On Friday, November 18th, Broadway’s SOME LIKE IT HOT hosted a special preview performance. Guests were treated to a pre-show cocktail, with Marc Shaiman indulged the crowd with an impromptu rendition of the title number at the piano before heading over to the Shubert Theatre for the evening performance.
